Community Grants

Council considers requests for grants from community groups and organisations for projects, activities, specialist scholarship and training programs that contribute to the development and promotion of the community within the Circular Head Council area.

Applications are invited in March (Round 1) and November (Round 2) annually and determined as part of the Council Budget process. Download the application form and a copy of the guidelines by clicking on the links below:

Community Small Grants Scheme 2018/2019 Round Two Successful Applicants

  1. Circular Head Pony Club - Upgrade Show Jumping Equipment


  1. Smithton Basketball Club Inc. – Upgrade Refrigeration Units and install heat pump


  1. Rotary Club of Smithton (auspicing for Voices of Circular Head)- Uniforms for V.O.C.H Choir


  1. Circular Head Landcare Group – Rescuing the Saltmarsh in Duck River – eradicating rice grass


  1. Irishtown Community Centre (* with conditions) – Re-surface Bitumen


  1. Lions Club of Rocky Cape – Cemetery Fence and Display Board

    6. Centenary of First Flight Across Bass Strait – Commemorative Sculpture (* subject to further funding advice, to a maximum of $5,000)
