E-Waste drop-off event at Spreyton

There will be a free E-Waste drop-off event on Sunday 9 April at the Spreyton Waste Transfer Station.

Old computers, televisions and printers are not sent to landfill because they contain toxic materials such as lead and mercury that are harmful to our environment.

If you can’t sell, swap or giveaway these goods, bring them to the free E-Waste drop-off event on Sunday 9 April at the Spreyton Waste Transfer Station.  All items will be recycled by TechCollect with support from toxfree.

Busy on 9 April?  You can also drop off accepted items before Friday 31 March at our the Port Sorell, Sheffield, Ulverstone, White Hills, Wynyard Waste Transfer Stations and they will be delivered to Spreyton for you.

Accepted E-Waste items include TVs, computers, printers, monitors, electrical cords, adapters and computer accessories.  For more details on recycling and waste management in our region visit www.rethinkwaste.com.au
