Centre Manager Appointed for Circular Head Wellbeing Centre

10 January 2019

Circular Head Council and Belgravia Leisure are pleased to announce that Stephen Stone has been appointed as the Centre Manager for the Circular Head Community Wellbeing Centre.

Regional Manager Kara Monaghan said it was really exciting to have Stephen on board as the Centre Manager.

“Stephen brings a wealth of experience to the role and is also a qualified Exercise Physiologist,” she said.

“Having grown up in Smithton, he is in the process of moving back home and we look forward to having him commence on 4 February. With the Centre Manager now appointed we are now on the lookout for a range of positions, including swim teachers and lifeguards.”

Work has recommenced on site at the centre this week following a short break over the Christmas/New year period.

Circular Head Mayor Daryl Quilliam said steady progress had been made, with the roof now completed and a number of the external walls of the building now in place.

“At this stage the construction is due to be completed by the second week in April, with the centre likely to open some time during the school holidays in April,” he said.

“I look forward to seeing further progress in the lead up to the opening date.”
